You’ve probably forgotten, but before Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards officially became pop’s cutest couple (taking the crown from Justin and Selena, obviously), One Direction star Zayn went out with fellow X Factor finalist Rebecca Ferguson.
The pair dated following their stint on the reality TV show, only to split after three months.
And, according to hints dropped by Rebecca, the reasons for the split may have involved Zayn’s inability to stay faithful.
Speaking to new! magazine about the split, Rebecca said: “Zayn knows so far that I’ve stayed classy and quiet and bitten my lip. I won’t talk about what went wrong between us, but he knows what happened. And it is what it is. I won’t expose what went on there.”
Ooh, cryptic.
